Wait to book your travel until you are notified of your meeting start and end times.

keep in mind:

• Make NAFSA will reimburse your travel after WLM
• Please make use of discounted websites such as Travelocity, Kayak, Orbitz or Expedia
• You may also contact NAFSA’s travel agent, Travel Partners, for their assistance in securing and paying for your travel arrangements. Travel Partners can be reached by calling 1-800-884-0070 or via their website
• If your travel exceeds $450.00 email wlm@nafsa.org for approval as the full amount may not be reimbursed

Arrivals and Departures

To allow for travel time and a one and a half hour check-in/security check (security lines at BWI and IAD average 30 minutes during rush hour), please book your return flights as follows:

• If departing from Reagan/National (DCA), you will need to leave the hotel 2 hours before your flight
• If departing from Baltimore (BWI), leave the hotel 3.5 hours before your flight
• If departing from Dulles (IAD), leave the hotel 3.5 hours before your flight.

Accommodations and Meals

Do not book your hotel room. NAFSA will book all rooms on your behalf based on your registration preferences.

Single Rooms

We ask that you share a double room. If you prefer a single room you will be charged the price difference of $110.00 per night during registration. Single rooms will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hotel Stay

NAFSA will only reserve hotel rooms for WLM dates. Any additional date requests unrelated to WLM will need to be made separately with the hotel and are not part of the WLM room block rate.

Meals

Most meals will be provided on-site as listed below on the schedule. For all other meals, including while you are traveling, you can claim reimbursement of a pre-set per diem on your travel reimbursement form after WLM.
